The school
Japanese tradition in the heart of Bauru
Judô Marinho Esteves was founded in April 2016 with a clear purpose: to spread the legacy of master Jigoro Kano through the traditional teaching of judo, with method, technique and values.
Under the guidance of Sensei Marinho Esteves (4th dan black belt) and Sensei Alessa Souza, the school trains practitioners of all ages — from the first break-fall to competition preparation.
More than a martial art, judo here is a path of growth: a strong body, a disciplined mind and firm character.

Marinho Esteves Moreira Júnior is a 4th dan black belt with a degree in Physical Education and a postgraduate degree in strength and conditioning. Coach at SESI-SP and of the Brazilian School Team, born in Guararapes, Brazil.
Sensei Alessa Souza
Instructor · Grassroots judo
Sensei Alessa Souza is part of the school's technical team, dedicated to training students with the traditional Japanese method, discipline and care.
